You never know exactly what to expect from The KickDrums. They’re just as capable of pulling off a Radiohead-style rock song as they are of a hard-knocking hip-hop track, but usually their concoctions end up somewhere in between. “Want My Blood,” with its Rockie Fresh feature and rock edge provided by BZ Deathrays, is one of these cases.
Brooklyn-based production duo The KickDrums have released “Want My Blood”, the first single off their highly anticipated new mixtape Follow The Leaders due out mid-March. The track features Rockie Fresh, the much buzzed about 20 year-old Chicago emcee and Australian fuzz-rockers DZ Deathrays.
