There was a lot of love for Michael Kiwanuka and his retro soul sounds when we posted on his heart warming EP Home Again, and I expect there will be even more love for the man now he’s hooked up with one half of The Black Keys. “Lasan” is warm and easy, the aural equivalent of sinking into a comfy armchair in front of a fire after a hard days work, with a glass of whisky in your hand, your faithful dog at your side, and an attractive Swedish masseuse rubbing your shoulders.
