New song from The Shins. It’s been quite a while, Shins. Welcome back.”Simple Song,” on first listen, is exactly what I was hoping for/expecting from a new Shins album. It’s simple, like the title suggests, but in a classic way. I kind of grew up with this band, and it’s great to hear from them again. This seems like it would fit right in on Chutes Too Narrow.
Port of Morrow is out on March 20th, on James Mercer’s imprint label. They’ve got a few, sporadic tour dates out and have conspicuously left Coachella dates off the list, as pointed out by Pitchfork.
