Well this was unexpected. One-third of Das Racist, Heems, went ahead and made a 25 song mixtape, and unlike his buddy Kool A.D.’s tape, this one sticks to the weirdo-rap Das Racist brand, and in the best way possible. The project has features from Childish Gambino, Danny Brown, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire, Action Bronson, and more, and some eclectic, dusty production from Mike Finito.
Heems dropped Nehru Jackets off on Twitter late last night with little other promotion. Then this morning he tweeted, “flyin to australia today yall. peace.” Okay, thanks Heems. Download the tape below, or check out a couple of tracks first to get a feel.
