Damn, what a crazy day in music. Let’s quickly recap;
– Common snaps Drake‘s “____” off in a response diss track, which he spits over “Stay Schemin”.
– Jay-Z dedicates a new song to the already notorious B.I.C.
– Hey, The Shins are back. That’s pretty cool.
– The Coachella 2012 lineup is out and it looks so nice they’re going to do it twice.
So what does all this have to do with Left Boy? Nothing really. He just happened to drop a new tune last night and since it’s been receiving heaps of attention on his Facebook page we decided to pile it on to all the other sweet shit we’ve dished out already. If you’ll remember, Confusion distributed a track from Left Boy last week. He felt somewhat guilty about sharing it, in the comments section you guys chopped it up over whether or not he should have, some agreed and some didn’t, but ultimately the feedback was pretty positive. So let’s give this another go.
For “Video Games” LB samples a Lana Del Ray tune of the same name and calls on his boy Mirakle (mir·a·cle) to participate. How does it feel the second time around, are we still guilty / unsure about this guy or is he growing on us?
