Nardwuar the Human Serviette of Vancouver, B.C. (which is my hometown, woop) has proven time again that he knows how make an interview entertaining. Recently he got together with Ghostface Killah and Cut Copy (separately; had they been together, it would’ve made for an epic interview) and goes quite in-depth with both respective acts.
That’s the thing about Nardwuar: you don’t realize how much research goes into his interviews until after you watch the entire thing and you think to yourself, “damn, that was informative.” But the best part? When Nardwuar freeze-frames at the end of the interview and the artists never really know what to do. That couple of seconds are just so awkward that it makes me cringe.
