Not only is the DJ Shadow song that features Yukimi Nagano of Little Dragon the perfect laid-back-and-relax track, but the visuals they’ve created for it are incredibly captivating. The video for “Scale It Back” was apparently shot in one take and features an interesting cast, like Ben Pridmore (the memory sport–yes, it’s a thing–champ), a pterodactyl, and Chun Li of Street Fighters.
As it turns out (spoiler alert), the choice of characters has to do with Pridmore’s method for memorizing things. It’s a clip so interesting that you almost forget you don’t get to watch Nagano dancing.
