The life story of Charles Bradley is an incredible one–he’s faced countless setbacks and was even homeless for some time. But at age 62, after years of trying to make it as a musician, Charles Bradley released his debut album, No Time For Dreaming. All that struggle created some really powerful music.
“Heartaches and Pain” was written after Charles’ brother was shot and killed by his nephew in his mother’s house, where they all lived. Like I said, you can’t fake this kind of shit. A documentary about Charles Bradley’s life is coming soon.
