It feels like you’ve been waiting forever for Marina and the Diamond‘s forthcoming project, Electra Heart; I know it’s been rough. Lucky for you, though, a track has leaked from her sophomore album titled “Starring Role.” For this one, Marina demonstrates her incredible vocal abilities and her lyrical prowess, but having said that, is it realistic for her to be singing about someone who isn’t loving her back? For real, have you seen her? Marina, sweetie, c’mon. How about you sing about something that’s a little more plausible? Electra Heart is supposed to drop “the same month as the previous album,” meaning February 2012.
