The MJ influence has always been present with Jhameel, but never as much as on “Wicked.” That’s not to say it sounds like an MJ song–it doesn’t. It’s sharp, post-Y2K synth-pop with teeth, but there are flashes of MJ delivery here, even in the little “ahh-ahh” vocal touches. Check out “Wicked” below.
