Beirut was on Fallon last night to promote their most recent project, The Rip Tide, and did a lovely performance of “Santa Fe.” If you’ve seen Beirut’s episode of the Take Away Show, you’ll know that the band’s lead singer/instrumentalist Zachary Francis Condon (Beirut was originally his solo project) is an all-around solid live performer through and through, lacking in neither stage presence nor talent. Plus, how many bands can bring out the horns?
