R.E.M. Release Their Last Single Ever

1.

We’ve had about a month to mourn since R.E.M. announced their break-up. Thankfully, they’re gracing us with one final effort in the form of their very last single to ever be released, titled “We All Go Back to Where We Belong.” The single, as well as two other new tracks (“A Month of Saturdays” and “Hallelujah”), will appear on their forthcoming greatest hits collection called Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage: 1982-2011 (wordy, I know – but I suppose they deserve it after a career of almost 30 years). The collection will be released November 15th. In the mean time, stream “We All Go Back to Where We Belong” over at Rolling Stone.
