SBTRKT is one of those rare, talented artists to make a great crossover album. Granted, his self-titled record this summer didn’t exactly blow up radio waves, but moving from UK bass music to a really cohesive album that indie and blog crowds love is definitely some kind of crossover, and he did it masterfully. “Golddigger” is definitely a look at SBTRKT in experimental dance mode, but it’s still dope. It’s off of Adult Swim’s latest compilation, [Unclassified], which takes a lot of the most talented artists in bass music (including Burial, Kode9, Zomby & Ikonika) and puts them all together in one easy-to-digest album. It’s fantastic, well worth the download, which you can grab below.
