In case you need a point of reference, here. Now strip it, gut it, and pull away the layers until you get to the skeleton. Throw a sheet over it, with holes cut out near the eyes. We’re getting closer to what James Vincent McMorrow has done here, except I doubt that he thought about this in terms of gutting, skeletons, and DIY ghost costumes.
With sparse piano accompaniment and a soft falsetto, McMorrow makes this ’80s gem appropriate for the Bon Blake fans who probably also enjoy the original, but only when it’s doused with irony and PBR.
