SSLYBY is gearing up for the October 18th release of Tape Club, a 26-song project that highlights some of the band’s unreleased material. An album of unreleased material sounds about as appealing as a box of leftover Kung Pao chicken, except without the chicken because I ate that during mealtime. But as WAWSTSF points out, the band has been making music for 10 years and they’ve only released three albums, so it makes sense that they might have some good stuff laying around.

“Yellow Missing Signs” is one of those songs, and it’s far from a throwaway. The track falls somewhere in between the straightforward indie rock sound that we’re used to from the band and more synthed up electro style that would fit in on an MGMT album. Check it out below.
