Like Wale did with “Nike Boots,” Macklemore‘s “Wings” uses the topic of footwear to symbolize much larger issues. The Seattle native spills his heart out on this one, and it’s probably a little over-the-top for some, but it would take a cold soul to not be a little moved by it.
