The Knocks covering/remixing six of their favorite oldies/Motown songs? This reeks of summer.
While they finish up their album, the NYC production duo decided to unleash this EP as a freebie. Some of the tracks work better than others, but when people give you free things, it’s rude to critique them, so check it out and decide for yourself. My personal favorite is the Alex Winston-assisted cover of “Can’t Hurry Love”, which has already earned a spot as one of my summer jams. (The song also made it onto the P&P summer mix called Fingers Crossed). Shoutout to BroBible.
