We first heard of Daughter aka Elena Tonra back in January with the beautiful track “Run” from her first EP of demos which is still available for download from her MySpace. Now we have another wonderfully written, powerfully emotional piece of music to feast our ears upon. “Landfill” floats between feelings of love, hate and loss, all riding a simple acoustic melody that gives Elena’s voice all the space it needs to draw you in and not let go. This one has been on repeat for about a half hour now, which I don’t normally do, especially with new songs, so check it out.
