We’ve heard from Cris with his covers of “Black and Yellow” and “All Of The Lights“. While I was intrigued, I was beginning to think that this kid is kind of a Jason Mraz-type, and I think he has the potential to be very popular, but I’ll probably end up cringing every time his music comes on in the mall food court or dentist’s office.
I gotta say, I’m liking this new original track “Good Girls” from 17 year old Cris Cab. It’s like a polished, popped up, 2011 version of a radio-friendly Sublime song. Part of me feels like the kid is more geared towards the teenage girl market, but I love reality TV and sometimes I wear silly bandz, so it wouldn’t be the first thing I have in common with teen girls.
Cab’s currently working on his album with some help from Pharrell.
PS – You think he’s talking about scissoring in that screenshot up top? I get the same look on my face when I talk about scissoring.
