It seems like these days, everyone is a rapper. New artists pop up each day, and it’s hard to really stand out, especially since so many rappers are following trends instead of creating them. In this sloppy feeding frenzy, Emay has emerged with his own distinctive style. He’s one of the few up and comers that has truly created his own lane and he’s already established himself as one of my personal favorites. His brand of weighty, intelligent hip-hop is the kind of music that you’ll find hard to compare to others. It’s Emay.
Pay attention, this emcee/producer is seriously talented and he’s only getting better. If you’re looking for hip-hop that’s more about content and quality and less about a fresh new image or a cool new catchphrase, you’re going to be into this. Check out his latest offering – an EP called Incorruptible.
