I stumbled across Moruf while scrolling through The Madbury Club and was thoroughly impressed by the vernacular fortitude of this young MC from Jersey. I downloaded his mixtape Garden State of Mind:Ready To Live and proceeded to vibe out to Moruf’s unique accent and penchant for storytelling. It’s great to hear someone effortlessly tell tales in their songs, instead of screaming their adlibs to cover what the song is lacking #noshots. But seriously this guy can rap, very well.
