Highlights From Izza Kizza's 10:15 Mixtape

1.

I fuck with Izza Kizza musically. He’s got a Southern drawl that might make you expect some throwback soulful rap or trap music, but he is on some truly other shit. Listening to an Izza Kizza song is like hopping on an animated neon space shuttle and blasting through a colorful blend of future and past. If I had to place his music, I’d put it somewhere between David Banner and Outkast, but the thing I like most about Izza is that nobody really sounds like him. There are plenty of new artists full of talent and potential, flows and wordplay, but with his juggernaut of a personality Izza is steadily carving out his own path somewhere on the outskirts of it all. In a world full of sound-the-sames, Izza is an outlier, and I dig it.

He recently put out his mixtape with Nick Catchdubs called 10:15 (Download the whole thing HERE). These are a few of my favorite tracks from the tape.

Izza Kizza – Money in the Bank

Izza Kizza – I Am What I Am

Izza Kizza ft. Twista – Ding Pick It Up

Izza Kizza – Ish Mish
