Spike Jonze has a new short film that came out earlier this year called “I’m Here.” It’s an L.A. love story between two robots, written and directed by Mr. Jonze, and it looks really good. Chocolate Industries is releasing a limited edition CD and 100 signed movie posters and gave us a stream of the soundtrack. It’s super indie, featuring big names like Sleigh Bells and Animal Collective, plus some original music by Sam Spiegel and Aska Matsumiya. From what I’ve heard from the trailer and recognize from the tracklist it’s super low-key, touching stuff that you’d expect to be in a Spike Jonze romantic short film.
