Summer has such pleasant vibes. It’s so easy to throw on a thumping beat, open your windows, and not give a shit about shit. I’m good at that. Fall is a little more complicated. I’ve dealt with a good number of autumns in my life, but I’ve never quite figured them out. I say it’s my favorite season sometimes, but I don’t know why. Maybe it’s just because I like wearing sweatshirts and light jackets. Whatever it is, I can smell it in the air, and it changes me. I talk less, stare off into space more, listen to less Hot97 and more NPR, and I welcome music like the acoustic folk of Sweden’s The Tallest Man On Earth.
