Brand new track from The Kickdrums here. I’ve kept an eye on them since their remix of Kanye’s “Good Morning” opened up that Yeezy remix project, “Sky High.” It takes a lot to really reinvent a Yeezy song because the production is always so bold, but they did a great job. As a band, they stick to rock, but their production skills always find a way to shine. On “Animal,” it happens around the 3:00 minute mark, where they switch everything up in fantastic, string-laden fashion. Check it.
