Outasight caught me off guard with this one. In the past he’s been hit or miss with me. This mixtape? Hit, hit, hit, hit from the very first song. I streamed over at the Bandcamp page thinking that I’d maybe like a few of them but I’m over halfway through and really digging it. Warner Bros. (shout to Warner) artist Outasight is an old soul that creates music that is undeniably “new” sounding. He combines rapping with singing, soulful beats with catchy melodies, and he’s something like a 2010 G-Love, but with a better voice. Stream/download below or here.
