So remember when Lupe denied being the lead singer of post punk band Japanese Cartoon? Well, I guess he was lying. I don’t know why he’d lie about this, but I don’t really care. Shit, I lie about my identity every day. I might as well come clean – I’m not actually Confusion. I’m Ja Rule. Just kidding, I’m Beck. See? It’s really easy to lie about who you are on the internet. But seriously, I’m definitely not Confusion.
Today Lupe let the whole Japanese Cartoon project loose for free. You can download the whole album In The Jaws of The Lords of Death by heading over to the JP site and signing up as a member. In the Jaws of The Lords of Death is, somewhat surprisingly, very good. We all know that rappers do not always make the most graceful transitions into other genres, but Lupe pulled it off.
