Them:Youth - "Fever Rising"

Rock music via London. Them:Youth has apparently been making some big noise. I’ve heard the name, but “Fever Rising” is my first listen, and it’s an impressive one. A layered, driving rock song fit for stadiums, “Fever Rising” powers through verses laced with a bass line fit for Muse and a melody fit for Oasis. The chorus comes in and settles things down a bit (buzzkill), but the song is a solid first single and a great intro to the band.

Already touted as the ones to watch by the likes of the NME, Sunday Times and Artrocker, Them:Youth finally announced October 2010 as the release date for their highly anticipated, genre-defying debut full length effort. It is a stark contrast to their previous releases. The new single, entitled “Fever Rising” comes out in digital format by July 2010 through Big Hand Recordings. The track is all festival-euphoria and songwriting substance neatly crafted into a song.
