Hope everyone had a good April Fools’ Day. If you pulled off a good joke, let me know in the comments. It’s never too early to plan for next year. A lot of people get annoyed with this holiday and most people just completely forget about it, which makes them obvious targets for people like me, who usually take things too far (pretending to be in car accidents, in need of medical attention, etc.) I am the type of person that still thinks antiquing people with flour while they sleep is one of the top 10 funniest things in the world.
If you haven’t already figured it out, this Detox joint I posted was an April Fools’ Joke. I know a lot of you knew right away, because I had to delete many comments that might give the joke away to the less cunning. I bet there is at least one person out there who didn’t get it and thinks Dr. Dre’s long-awaited Detox is going to be full of vulgar Baltimore club music. When they go to share with their friends, they will be laughed at and labeled an outcast.
I’ve been travelling from FL back to NY all day, so I haven’t kept up with the music for today. But I have been checking my email, and I got some good shit in the inbox. Check out ArtOfficial‘s studio version of “Voodoo” (Stream only for now), which flips the classic Hendrix track (that is a saxophone at the beginning!).
