Who would have thought that the mellow, barren sounds of The xx would work so well with the growling anger of DMX? The Hood Internet knew. This is why I love mash ups. There’s a calculated recklessness in the art of the mash-up that allows wild risks to be taken. This one is like the result of cross breeding a gorilla and a panther. A panthrilla.
