The White Panda recently put out their mixtape Versus, full of mash ups and condensed for an hour of party-fest intensity sometimes followed by guilt because you’re fist pumping to the vocals of a song that you probably talked shit on at some point in the past 5 months. That’s the beauty of The White Panda – they can take two songs you dislike, even hate, and mash them together to make a song that makes you want to fill a room with 1,000 helium balloons and go ape.
Down to the titles of their songs, these guys are masters of their craft. The fucking mash-up – an artform that is often misunderstood, ridiculed, abused, and severely underestimated – the fucking mash-up. Here are two that were on Versus but chopped down.
