Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating! I hope you all have a good time with family, friends, or whoever you’re with. Enjoy the turkey and a deep tryptophan induced coma. Here’s a song that has always reminded me of Thanksgiving. It’s Bob Schneider’s awesome acoustic version of the Scarecrow’s “If I Only Had A Brain”. I put it on a Thanksgiving mix back in highschool and it’s always the first song I think of when Turkey Day comes around.

Since it’s Thanksgiving, I guess I should thank all of you for coming to Pigeons and Planes and supporting it for the past year. It’s been a trip to watch the site grow and I really appreciate all the support from you guys: Tips on new songs, guerrilla marketing for P&P, random emails, hilarious Twitter conversations, technical support for a blogger with no computer skills, and just stopping by and leaving a comment.

Shake and Meka from 2DopeBoyz. One of the first blogs I really got into and learned that a blog (even a hip-hop blog) is more than just a bunch of mp3s and videos posted up. These guys have character, and their blog is one of the few out there that has a pulse.
Gotta thank Eskay from NahRight, even though I get no love! Haha again, one of the first blogs I got into. I actually had a short email conversation with Eskay about helping out at NahRight way back, but he eventually stopped responding. So I decided to start my own blog.
