The Chairs are planning an album of new material for November, but first comes an EP of covers in October. The Chairs have made some really solid choices for covers so far (“Flume”, “In An Aeroplane Over The Sea”), so I’m looking forward to seeing what else is in store.
Here’s a little taste of what’s to come. It’s The Chairs’ cover of Wilco’s “Reservations” from Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. The original is a much more epic, sonically intense track and The Chairs strip it down to a more organic, still beautiful song. Check it out.
