If that last track was too shiny and upbeat for you, I have something that might suit you better. This track reminds me a little of Arcade Fire, with a sluggish beat, a group of people (could be children) singing loudly/creepily from a distance, strange lyrics, and an overall feeling of darkness. What the fuck do you expect from a band called Dead Man’s Bones? Wonder how many readers will enjoy both this and that last Mayer Hawthorne track. The record comes out October 6th on Anti.
