This one might be old news to some of you, but it’s still new to me. I’ve only heard this song in its entirety two times, and I still haven’t seen the movie The Wrestler, but it looks bad ass and when it comes out on DVD I’m gonna be all over it. Anyways I’m not a big Bruce fan, but this song sounds great and Springsteen backed only by an acoustic guitar and some sparse instrumental accompaniment > Bruce backed by a bunch of old rockers in lots of leather. No offense, Max Weinberg. Thanks to Ear Farm and Pretty Much Amazing for this one.
Sidenote: Almost posted the Superbowl half time show, but does anybody really want to see it again? Not bad, but pretty much what you’d expect from a Bruce Springsteen halftime show.
