Here’s the video for La Roux’s debut single “Quicksand”. I don’t know much about La Roux, but she’s kind of a guilty pleasure for me. Based on many factors, some which probably shouldn’t come in to play (what the fuck is up with her hair?, she reminds me of Peter Pan), this doesn’t seem like something I should enjoy. But I do. I like “Fascination” better than “Quicksand”. “Quicksand” sounds like a “When Doves Cry” ripoff to me.
