UPDATED 5/3, 10:20 a.m.: TMZ caught up with the man who threw the punch. Asked in the clip above if he wishes he “handled it differently or was that just the right thing to do in the moment,” the man who goes by ItzMrBHN online said it was “definitely the right thing to do.”

“Hopefully that humbled him a little bit. … You can’t be good and evil, man, pick a side. I’m just tired of this guy, you know, bullying everybody,” he said, adding 6ix9ine’s crew was filming his section of the club. “Then on his Story he posts, ‘[n***as is pussy], we outside,’ and it just hit a nerve, man. Like why is you doing all that?”

ItzMrBHN said Tekashi’s security “just pushed me all the way out the way,” stepped on his shoes, and elbowed him. “I’m like yo, we bought bottles, we got a section, like we got every right to be in here as well,” he recalled thinking. “Just because this guy’s waking by, that don’t mean nothing, he’s a regular human. He’s a human being. I don’t care if he was the richest person the world, he’s still a regular human being. So even with the people that’s around you, they try to be bullies and stuff like that with you just because you feel like you’re a bully or whatever the case may be—we’re not going for that.”

While 6ix9ine was exiting the Pilos Tacos Tequila Garden in Miami on Wednesday, the rainbow-haired rapper learned he’s still got some adversaries who wanna take a shot at him.

As seen in a video shared by TMZ, the “GINÉ” lyricist was exiting the club around 2 a.m. with his crew when someone punched him before his security shoved him away. The blow appears to have connected to the back of 6ix9ine’s head.

The rapper had popped up at Pilos Tacos Tequila Garden earlier in the evening to perform one song alongside the club’s DJ. Clearly, not everyone was too jazzed about the Brooklyn rapper stopping by.

“He scuffed my shoulder by my neck,” 6ix9ine later clarified to TMZ. “He also connected with the shoulder of my security guard. I didn’t know this guy. There was no prior dispute.”

6ix9ine has been up to his old tricks ever since his return to the public eye. He recently gave a fiery interview with Akademiks on his Off The Record podcast where he took shots at the late King Von, Lil Durk and Blueface and has endlessly trolled Fivio Foreign over his “King of New York” claims, his album sales, and even his age.

This y’all king?” 6ix9ine wrote in response to Fivio’s debut B.I.B.L.E. selling 29,000 units its first week. “Not blackballed, all those features, the whole industry promoted that. And now you Kanye and Nicki sidekick even they even tried to help you promote.”

Fivio was quick to bite back at 6ix9ine’s comments on his Instagram Stories.

“And this is why I don’t respond to these lame ass weirdo clout chase’n n***as,” Fivio wrote alongside a post showing five of his songs on the New York Apple Music charts. “[You] could buy YouTube views but you can’t buy chart positions. Everything this kid [has] ever said has been lie and everything else is gon b a lie. I apologize to the real 1’s out there that’s mad I’m entertaining this shit but fans most kno. What’s really goin on in NY.”
