After Drake leaked Kanye West’s song “Life of the Party” featuring André 3000 on SiriusXM’s Sound 42 following the release of his album Certified Lover Boy, many in the rap community were impressed to hear the amazing new track.

Among them was Tyler, the Creator, who shared on Wednesday that he heard the song months ago and still loves it.

“man i heard life of the party a few months back and lost my mind,” Tyler tweeted. “song is beautiful man i want to eat it. very anita baker styled progression. original verse was so warm and true. pretty.”

As far as Tyler’s “original verse was so warm and true” comment, the version of “Life of the Party” Drake leaked was one where Kanye’s bars were heavily dedicated to targeting Drizzy. André 3000 spoke about this following the leak, saying he wasn’t aware of ’Ye’s final intentions for the song.

“The track I received and wrote to didn’t have the diss verse on it and we were hoping to make a more focused offering for the Donda album but I guess things happen like they are supposed to,” 3 Stacks wrote. “It’s unfortunate that it was released in this way and two artists that I love are going back and forth.”

When Drake first leaked the track, Tyler took to Twitter to share a few quick thoughts:

There’s a chance that the video of Kanye and Tyler in the studio in July may have been the moment the Call Me If You Get Lost artist got a preview of “Life of the Party.”
