UK producer Swindle has returned with his star-studded new album, The New World.

To support the beatsmith’s conquest of The New World, he called on Ghetts, Knucks, Joy Crookes, Akala, Maverick Sabre, Loyle Carner, JNR Williams, Poppy Ajudha, Joel Culpepper, Kojey Radical, Daley and Greentea Peng to feature on the 9-track offering.

One of the glaring standouts is “What More”, featuring neo-soul vocalist Greentea Peng. The track takes musical cues from vintage ska, dub, soul and jazz as Peng’s smoky-toned verses contemplate personal hardships and the human experience. “How I’ve Been”, featuring Joy Crookes, Loyle Carner, JNR Williams and Kojey Radical, is another winner: Swindle’s smooth, piano-led instrumental is equal parts anthemic and reserved, bringing the best out of the aforementioned artists.
