Adding to a stacked year of releases (his 10th in as many months), West London rapper ASB is back with a brand new scorcher in “Oooh”.

This one’s a little different from his usual straight-up rap sound, taking cues from the drill scene for both flow and instrumental. The latter comes from producer Incog, who’s crafted a bassy, late-night backdrop for ASB’s hot-n-heavy rhymes.

ASB told us he took a few cues from Ludacris when it came to both the sound and the visuals. You can hear it in the catchy chorus, but that goes double for the larger-than-life visuals, which add the kind of playful and cartoonish effects that made Luda’s videos so memorable in the 2000s. It’s a refreshing take on the drill sound and a welcome slice of fun for the end of summer.
