Just three months after landing his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Whole Lotta Red, Playboi Carti has returned with a new video for the Art Dealer-produced track, “Sky.”

Directed by Nick Walker and produced by Chad Tennies and Rachel Walden, the hazy, green-colored visual finds Carti in rare form, performing the track while he and his crew ransack a grocery store.

“Sky” is the second official video from Whole Lotta Red, following the Cudi-assisted “M3tamorphosis.” Since releasing the album last Christmas, the 24-year-old rapper has gifted fans with a Cactus Plant Flea Market merch collection, as well as a free livestream concert on New Year’s Eve and a performance of “Slay3r” on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show

In January, Whole Lotta Reddebuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, moving 100,000 equivalent album units in its first week, with 10,000 from album sales and 90,000 from streaming. Although the pandemic has prevented Carti from performing the LP in front of live audiences, there’s no denying that the imminent WLR tour will be well worth the wait.
