UPDATED 3/10, 12:20 a.m. PT:Shortly after announcing his partnership with Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free’s pgLang, Tanna Leone dropped off two new tracks titled “With The Villains” and “Lucky.” Additionally, Tanna shared the Neal Farmer-directed music video for “With The Villains.”
But that wasn’t all. It was also announced that the artist has signed with Def Jam Recordings.

Kendrick Lamar and former Top Dawg Entertainment president Dave Free’s service company pgLang announced a partnership with 23-year-old Los Angeles artist Tanna Leone.
The news came with a brief getting-to-know-you clip, above, directed by Pepe. Tanna will drop a new two-track single, “With the Villains” and “Lucky,” on Thursday, the latter of which will also have a music video.
“When pgLang launched, I knew that’s where my home was,” Tanna said in a statement. “It’s an honor to join my brothers on this journey of shaping the future of media and entertainment. … As an artist I want to represent disrupting the status quo, push people to focus on their growth as a human, and to be a voice for the voiceless through my artistry.”
Tanna is the second artist to partner with pgLang since its inception, following Baby Keem, who joined forces with the creative company last summer. He’s currently a special guest on Keem’s Melodic Blue Tour, which kicked off Monday in Cincinnati. The 28-date run will make stops in New York, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Chicago before wrapping at Coachella on April 22.
