After former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson was criticized for Blackfishing and cultural appropriation in her new music video, Nicki Minaj has decided to step in.

Nelson, who is white, has been the center of “Blackfishing” concerns since the video for “Boyz” was released. The track marks Nelson’s solo debut effort alongside Minaj. Allegedly leaked screenshots from Instagram user NoHun this weekend showed Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock raise concerns over her former bandmate’s presentation, and reportedly writing that she “blocked us,” referring to her and her two other bandmates, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards.

Now, Nicki is sharing her thoughts.

“Sweetheart, take them text messages and shove it up your fucking ass,” Nicki said. “When you do clown shit, I gotta treat you and talk to you like you a clown. [You] don’t have to come out and try to ruin anyone. Let her enjoy this time.”

Nicki continued, sharing that Leigh-Anne was “in this woman’s roof and you ain’t talk about this shit for 10 years.”

“And as soon as you see she got a video coming out with Nicki Minaj and Puffy, now you sending stations text messages and all this shit, print those messages out, busy yo ass open and shove it up your motherfucking ass.”

Jesy also spoke about her time in the group, which she left in December, citing mental health reasons. She said on Instagram Live that she was “in a group with two women of color for 9 years” and it was never brought up to her until they recorded her last video with the group, “Sweet Melody.”

“She messaged me and said, ‘Jesy, I just want to make you aware that…,’” Jesy began to say, before Nicki added that people should “focus on your own energy.”

Also in the Live, Nicki spoke about having a “little fake girlfriend” and cheating on her highschool boyfriend with her. She and Jesy also played a game of “Fuck, marry, punch in the face” with Birdman, 50 Cent, and Diddy. Jesy said she’d fuck 50, marry Diddy—who appeared in her latest video—, and punch Birdman, before calling 50 one of the “sexiest men in the world.” You can check out that clip above, and the full Instagram Live below.
