After racking up a not-too-shabby 1.5 million views when he posted a clip to his Instagram earlier this week, Lagos-via-Peckham star Naira Marley has officially dropped his new single, “Body”.
Produced by long-time collaborator Niphkeys, the summer-ready new track packs a walloping low-end and a hot-n-heavy beat to get the sweat pouring, and arrives as he celebrates another year round the sun.
Last year was a big one for Marley who released his latest album, God’s Timing’s The Best, which was well-received by fans and critics alike, as well as a trio of singles, “Abracadabra” with Rexxie and Skiibii, “Vawulence” with BackRoad Gee, and “Girls Just Wanna Have Funds”.
Although these last few months have been comparatively quiet, word has it Marley’s camp is about to announce some very big UK-oriented plans for the year ahead, so stay tuned.
