Muni Long has teamed up with California rapper Saweetie for “Baby Boo,” a new track that takes inspiration from Ghost Town DJ’s song “My Boo.”

Over a beat that sounds tailored to restart the running man challenge, the two have delivered a song that’s perfectly timed for rising temperatures across the country. The arrival of “Baby Boo” comes not long after it was announced that she entered a partnership with Def Jam via her own label, Supergiant Records.

“It has been a lifelong goal of mine to be able to bring my gifts to the world,” Muni said of the partnership. "This alignment with [chairman and CEO Tunji Balogun] and Def Jam for a global takeover is a literal dream come true."

Building on the momentum of recent singles “Pain,” “Another,” and her Public Displays of Affection cut “Hrs and Hrs,” Muni Long is gearing up to have a big year. Prior to adopting her stage name for a solo career, Muni Long worked extensively with some of the biggest popstars in the world. She’s got co-writing credits on Rihanna’s “California King Bed,” “Imagine” by Ariana Grande,” and the No. 1 single “Timber” by Pitbull and Kesha.
