Ahead of the release of the deluxe edition of his latest album Weight of the World, Maxo Kream taps Benny the Butcher for his new song “Football Heads.”
The song, which arrives alongside a music video, comes on the heels of the previously released single “Jigga Dame.” Both tracks are expected to appear on Maxo Kream’s Weight of the World deluxe, which is due out July 27.
Kream handles hook duties and spits the first verse before tossing it to Benny, who delivers a scene-stealing guest spot to close out the song.
“It’s me behind limo-tint, off a key that I triple-slip/That’s me with the broad, with the foreign car, and the big ol’ tits/That’s me with the V that start at 3, then shift to 6/That’s me with the 80 carat VS piece with the big ol’ chips,” Benny raps.
Released last October, Weight of the World served as the official follow-up to Maxo’s 2019 effort Brandon Banks, boasting features from Tyler, the Creator, ASAP Rocky, Freddie Gibbs, Monaleo, and Don Toliver.
In an interview with Complex last August, Maxo opened up about his latest full-length offering, saying, “What it’s really like representing and putting on for the city is me going out, going harder, and keep being Maxo. I’m a representation of the city. I feel like when I’m doing me—that’s my best foot forward. I got the city on my back. We’re rocking.”
