Fresh off announcing the release date (April 16) for his upcoming project, Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut, Kenny Mason returns with his latest single, “Play Ball.”
Accompanied by a CGI visualizer directed by Elijah Chauvin and Fabrice Mercier, the rock-infused new track sees the Atlanta rapper showcase his vocal range over guitar-heavy production.
“Play Ball” is the third offering from Kenny this year, following last month’s alternative banger “Partments” and the recently-released, melodic jam “Pup.”
All three songs will appear on the highly anticipated Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut tape, which will include nine other new tracks and guest appearances from Freddie Gibbs, Angel White, and Denzel Curry.
Supercut serves as an extension of the 25-year-old’s critically acclaimed debut album, Angelic Hoodrat, which made Complex’s 2020 Best Albums list.
