Ahead of the forthcoming release of his third studio album 2000, Joey Badass returns with a music video for his brand new single “Zipcodes.”
“Zipcodes” follows the previously released singles “Survivor’s Guilt,”“Where I Belong,” “The Rev3nge,” and “Head High.” It’s unclear if the tracks will appear on Joey’s upcoming album.
Initially set to be released on on June 17, 2000 was pushed back over sample clearing issues. The album is now scheduled to drop next Friday, July 22, via Pro Era/Columbia Records.
Speaking with Vibe during the BET Awards in June, the Brooklyn rapper opened up about what fans can expect when listening to his next full-length offering.
“On the new album 2000, what should be expected is that classic Joey sound, you know what I’m saying? That authentic Joey. Everything that you want out of Joey Badass, you’re going to get from this project right here. I’m excited for this,” he said.
Joey is currently on the road for his 19992000 summer North American tour. After kicking off July 1 in Boston, Joey will make stops in Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco, before wrapping on July 28 in Los Angeles.
