Ja Rule and Fat Joe are trading shots on social media ahead of Tuesday night’s Verzuz battle.

On Thursday, Joey Crack took to Instagram to let Ja know he’s not intimidated by the Queens rapper’s catalog of hit records.

“Everybody know you King Kong,” the Bronx MC said in an IG video. “Everybody know you got all the hits, but I’ma have to drag you. I’m about to bring you into the projects, Trinity Ave. Y’all must have forgot cuz I ain’t forget. Streets know, streets know. … You my brother. I love you, but I’ma have to get you up out that cardigan sweater.”

Ja clapped back the following day, posting a video on Instagram in which he insisted he would also do some dragging during their battle.

“I like that, it’s cool,” Ja said. “I’m comfortable there. But I’ma drag you on that stage. See, you have to perform them records. Word for word. Bar for bar. I’m gonna make you sweat out that motherfuckin’ Versace, nigga. That Hermes, oh yeah, you gon’ sweat that out.”

With rumors now swirling that Ja’s bitter rival 50 Cent might make an appearance during Fat Joe’s set, the Murder Inc. hitmaker told TMZ his focus remains on Tuesday night’s opponent.

“I will say, 50 had his shot,” Ja said. “I wanted him in the dog house first. He didn’t want to come to the dog house. So me and Crack are going to represent for the city and do it right and put on a beautiful, beautiful show. But you know, me and Crack are both competitors. It’s going to be a fight, a great show for people.”

When the possibility of a 50 Cent cameo was brought up, Ja said, “Listen, that would be the dumbest thing ever. You didn’t want to get in the gauntlet with me, but you want to make an appearance? Come on—bring it on, baby! I ain’t fearing nothing, yo. If that happens, that just means I have to give both of them that work.”
