As Lil Durk celebrates his 29th birthday, Drake chose to share some meaningful words for his friend and Certified Lover Boy-collaborator.

“Love u boy we really built some shit for life I appreciate you just checking on me and being a real friend,” he wrote on an Instagram story. “Today it’s MORE LIFE only the family forever @lildurk.” Drake's shout-out comes right on the eve of his own birthday, which lands on October 24. The dynamic duo have clearly formed a bond, which was apparent when they collaborated first on “Laugh Now, Cry Later,” and then on CLB’s “In The Bible.”

Other stars also wished Durk a happy birthday, including Diddy, Swizz Beatz, Metro Boomin, DJ Khaled, and Yo Gotti. As accomplished as Lil Durk is, the rapper recently revealed that he’s looking to “challenge himself” in his 29th year of life, and announced that he plans to complete his high school education. “I’m going to get my high school diploma,” he wrote on Twitter. “I want to challenge myself on my goals and real-life situations.”

Quavo, who also wished Durk a happy birthday today, recently accomplished this feat as well. “Finally Can Say I Graduated High School Class Of 2020,” he wrote on Instagram back in May alongside a graduation photo of him in a cap and gown. “We Lit 🔥 Now What College Should I Go To? 🧐 And To Celebrate We Gonna Drop SMASH TONIGHT 🔥🌊 BERKMAR HIGH NAWFSIDE BABY.”

Either way, it looks like Durk has got some exciting plans for his 29th time around the sun.
